These Peanut Butter Apple Bars are as easy as counting “1-2-3″

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

(1) In a food processor, blend together ¾ cup peanut butter, ½ cup coconut oil or other cold-pressed oil, ½ cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs.

(2) Then spoon the processed peanut butter mixture into a bowl with ¾ cup whole-wheat flour and ½ teaspoon baking soda. Stir in ½ cup applesauce.

(3) Press the dough into a 12 X 12 square pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes until done. After the pan has cooled, cut into two-inch bars.
