I have recommended ACV for others who had food poisoning. I never thought I'd need ACV myself for food poisoning, but I did. This past Saturday, my stomach was upset for most of the afternoon. It gradually got worse and about midnight, I violently threw up. Realizing I must have food poisoning I drank a full glass of water with 2 tablespoons of ACV and ½ teaspoon of aluminum-free baking soda. I was amazed that I immediately felt better. Websites state that ACV helps with mild food poisoning, but mine was severe. I thought I’d be up all night, hugging the porcelain, but I slept through the night. Repeating the remedy the next morning made my stomach pains disappear once again. I didn’t eat much on Sunday, but kept drinking the remedy. I must say that personally experiencing ACV remedy for food poisoning made me a believer.

Thank you Nonna for coming to my rescue with Apple Cider Vinegar when I was severely ill with food poisoning. I was in so much pain that I thought over-the-counter drugs would be needed, but they only made my symptoms worse. You brought over the ACV and I was very skeptical, however, within 2 hours I was feeling a lot better. You should also mention that ACV comes in capsule form which is great for people who go on trips and can't take liquids with them.

So, how do you ingest ACV daily? Do you put it in water? or food?

Yikes... I meant to include how to take it and forgot! I just added this info to the blog.
Of course, it's a vinegar, so you can use it as you would any vinegar in salads and cooking as well.
Be sure to purchase ORGANIC RAW apple cider vinegar. Braggs is a good brand.
Blessings, Joann
